Dr. Ehsan was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington where her father was a physician at Overlake Hospital Medical Center.  She completed both her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Washington where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  She then did her residency in General Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.  She returned to Seattle where she did an accredited fellowship at Swedish Medical Center/Northwest Colon and Rectal Clinic.

Dr. Ehsan opened the Overlake Colon and Rectal Clinic in 2002.  In addition to her surgical practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, and attending the opera.  She is also an avid gardener and COVID-baker!

Dr. Ehsan is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.  In addition, she is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

She is excited to join her colleagues in Proliance Surgical Specialists at Overlake and continue the tradition of excellent surgical care to the residents of the east side.
